Kurylo Gold & Josey, PLC provides comprehensive
representation for clients in a variety of legal areas.

About Us

Kurylo Gold & Josey’s divorce lawyers in Virginia help clients get through some of the toughest issues they’ll ever face: getting divorced, defending against criminal charges and planning for an uncertain future. We’ve been serving the Fredericksburg area as a team since 2012 with a single minded focus to help our clients and provide them with outstanding personal service.

Family Law

Practicing family law often means helping clients make the best of a bad situation. We understand our clients are under a lot of stress and we provide the support they need to efficiently move through the legal process and on with their lives. We listen to our clients and learn about their history, their current situation and their goals for the future. We talk about past problems and work out solutions to move into a more productive future. When necessary, we litigate cases, but also know that, particularly in family law, sometimes the best way to move forward is through mediation or negotiation. The legal process is something you can leave to us, while you focus on living your life.

Criminal Law

No area of law has more serious consequences when the outcome doesn’t go the client’s way, than with Criminal Law cases. With that can come the inability to support your family, in addition to other negative, life long professional and financial repercussions. We help clients with the complete range of criminal charges. We listen to them and make sure their side of the story is heard and their rights are defended. We investigate the circumstances of each client’s arrest and test every piece of evidence the prosecution has. We tell our clients the truth and give our honest opinion of their situation, so they can come to the right decision as to whether a plea bargain or criminal trial is in their best interests.

Estate Planning

Estate planning allows clients to take control of times they would otherwise be unable to control, such as incapacitation or death. A will allows a person to have some control over their assets after they pass away. A power of attorney can allow someone you trust to take care of financial or healthcare decisions, in case you are unable to do so. An advanced medical directive can speak for you, informing health care professionals about the care you want (and don’t want), when you can’t speak for yourself. We help clients who have estate planning documents in place, but who want to review them or change them due to changed circumstances. We talk to our clients, listen to their situation and what they want to accomplish, and execute a plan that will meet their needs.
